Gale Literature Resource Center

 

 

 

 

 

The Literature Resource Center on GaleNet is a complete literature reference database containing biographical information on literary figures from all time periods with writings in fiction, nonfiction, poetry, drama, history, journalism, and others. Included in Gale Literature Resource Center is Modern Language Association (MLA), which has access to 1.5 million citations from the MLA International Bibliography and to over 4,400 records from the MLA Directory of Periodicals. The two databases Literature Resource Center and MLA are searched simultaneously.

Text Box: Authors by Type

 

 This search will allow you to select an author by ethnicity, genre (a literary or artistic work), author’s nationality, theme (idea or recurring element, for example art, Asian culture, beauty), literary movement or time period.

 

Encyclopedia of Literature allows you to search for terms within the database.

 

Text Box: Saving/Email

 

To save to a disk click File on the browser menu bar and click Save As. Under Save As type click Text.

To Email the complete document to your email account click the email link. Enter your email address, give the document a subject, and click Send.
